NAME:  Judith HollisJudith Hollis and Dr. Jiang

COUNTRY:  Australia

AGE:  52

DIAGNOSIS:  Right Cerebral Artery Infarction

START OF TREATMENT:  January 19, 2006

REASON FOR COMING FOR TREATMENT:   Judy had a stroke on April 5, 2002. She did some rehabilitation for awhile but finally could not make any improvements and stopped.

TREATMENT:  Umbilical cord stem cell and nerve growth factor injections with rehabilitation therapy

BEFORE THE TREATMENT: Judy could not move her left hand and had to have her left leg in a cast for walking. She had often had pain in her affected foot. She could walk but slowly and she mostly used a wheelchair to go far distances. Her knee used to give out when walking as well.

AFTER THE TREATMENT: (February 22, 2006)

See Video of Judy talking about her balance.

See Video1 and Video2 of Judy's Therapist.

Judith lost the pain in her foot. Her walking got better and she could walk faster because her balance became better. Her knee would give out less. Her husband told her that when she came home that both her speech and the way her face looked were much better.
