REASON FOR COMING FOR TREATMENT:  HE had moderate quadriplegia after cerebral infarction. His speaking was not clear enough to communicate with others for the six years before the treatment.

BEFORE THE TREATMENT:  There was no strength in the muscles of his neck. He couldn’t raise his head up. His muscle tension was high. The degree of muscle strength of his arms was 3. The degree of muscle strength of his legs was less than 4. He couldn’t figure out directions. He was easily irritated. He had difficulties in doing calculations and his memory was not good. He had difficulties in swallowing and he could not speak clearly.


AFTER THE TREATMENT:  His muscle tension is almost normal. The degree of muscle strength of his arms is 4. The degree of muscle strength of his legs is 5. He can walk better using a cane. He can speak more clearly and communicate with others.

First, his arms are softer meaning that the muscle tension has been reduced. Second, he has fewer wrinkles and he looks younger. Third, the amount of his white hair decreased. Half of his hair was white before. Now, less than one third of his hair is white. Fourth, he can stretch his legs. He could not before. He can take bigger strides than before. Previously his stride was only have of what it is now. He can walk much more smoothly than before and he can walk faster. He can have one leg on the floor, with the other lifted up. He could not do this before.
